- Verifying companies before entering into contracts;
- Identifying businesses in international registries;
- Working with services like Apple Developer, Google Ads, Amazon, U.S. government institutions, and others.
For services like Google, Apple, and others, DUNS is necessary to confirm that your company exists and is officially registered.
How to Obtain a DUNS Number?
- Check if DUNS Exists
Many companies already have DUNS, as Dun & Bradstreet automatically adds them to their database. You can check the availability of your DUNS on the official D&B website for your country.
- If DUNS is Not Available — Apply
For Ukraine, the application page is: https://dnb.com.ua/duns-number/
Typically, the following information is required:
- Company name
- EDRPOU code
- Legal address
- Contact person
- Copies of incorporation documents (if necessary)
- Processing Time
Usually takes from 5 to 30 days. For an additional fee, expedited assignment can be requested.
- After Receiving
You will receive an official 9-digit code that can be used for verification with services like Google, Apple, Meta, and others.
